Amina Aden is the founder of Mina's Matcha, a café in Seattle focused on sharing high quality Japanese matcha. She first got into matcha in 2014, and over the years it became a passion that led her to learn about tea cultivation, cultivars, and traditional preparation. In 2025, she traveled to Japan to visit tea farms, meet producers, and learn more about matcha at its source. Through Mina's Matcha, she enjoys helping people discover what makes great matcha special and showing that preparing a bowl of matcha can be both simple and meaningful.
