Around the time I retired from teaching kindergarten, I had the opportunity to attend a tea tasting event that opened the door to a world I had previously not known existed. I became very excited to find out all I could about whole leaf teas. This search for knowledge has taken me to Taiwan and China, as well as finding other tea enthusiasts over the internet from whom I could learn more about the growing, processing and brewing of my favorite teas. I'm not a tea professional, only a student of tea who loves to share the journey with others.
