The Tea Bar is a key element in accomplishing our mission by offering tasting sessions with a broad range of topics for all levels of tea lovers and tea learners. Also, it’s a lot of fun and a place to meet, and sip and sit with old and new friends. We invite you to apply to be a Tea Bar Host at the 2026 Northwest Tea Festival.
If you are interested in hosting a tasting session at the 2026 tea festival, fill out the form below by July 10, 2026.
Your application will be considered and you will be notified by July 15th of your status.
The Tea Bar is open throughout the festival. Three brewing tables will be conducting tastings with six tasters per table. New sessions will start hourly at each table. Tea Bar Hosts will have forty five minutes to prepare and discuss what they are brewing.
We will accommodate requests for session times and days as best we can. Depending on the number of hosts there may be an opportunity for some to host more than once.
We have ample brewing equipment and hot water available for you or you can bring and use your own gear. You can bring your own tea too or use any of the teas we will have from either iTeaworld and LapsangStore. If you are interested in brewing iTeaworld or LapsangStore teas, let us know. We will be able to give you the teas ahead of time so you can familiarize yourself with them.
All Tea Bar Hosts will get free admission and a festival cup and bag.
